ABOUT ME I am an artist and 'student of Nature' The woods are my Church, the animals and Nature Spirits are my Gods. I don't pay any heed to established religion (though I respect other peoples beliefs) and develop my own beliefs through practice and proof. 'Matt' Jones is a witch/energy worker and card reader who was born, and resides in North Wales, UK. He has a passion for Wales's legends and myths and grew up believing Dragons and other creatures were indeed real. He still holds that belief to this day, as he integrates Dragon and elemental work into his Animal Spirit work. His soul and life totem is the Wolf. Wolf taught him that in order to move forward, he needed to share his knowledge of his practices, what he has learned so far in this life. His Spiritual beliefs are fluid, but lie amongst Shamanism, Shinto and Wicca. He also works closely with Crow and a red Dragon in his healing and meditation. Matt believes that it is very possible for Animals to be reincarnated as Humans, and vice versa. As of September 2008, Matt has been studying a course in Animal Studies/Science Welsh College of Horticulture in Northop, North Wales. He is very positive that this will lead to a career with Animals, possibly in the medical field. He feels he can then mix his two life paths for the better. As an artist, Matt has been drawing since he could hold a pencil and the main subjects of his art are always Animals, particularly Wolves, Dogs and Dragons. He draws himself as both a 'winged' wolf, and a black dragon in Spiritual art. He feels these represent his inner self as a non-human. Although Matt used to take on commissions, he would like to focus now on Spiritual and personal art. Guides and Helpers Matt is aware of two major personal guides in his life. The first appeared to him when he was 17. Turpin is a large black, tan and white Wolf who is always with him. Turpin has many jobs, as a protector, a medium, an adviser and a meditation-aide. While many people have human guides as their link to the Spirit world, it is also perfectly normal to have Animal guides, or to have guides who assume Animal form. Aiela is probably Matt's main link to the Higher consciousness. For years he could see her, a young, fair-haired woman in a white cloak with red triangle patterns at the sleeves. Despite this, he could never speak to her until recently when she appeared to him in the form of a beautiful White Wolf in a meditation. Aiela told him that she thought he would find it easier to talk to him in this form, as he was taking on the form of a black wolf.
